These terms apply when you use ToolsBench and its tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Using the tools
The tools are free to use for personal and commercial work. You don't need an account. Please don't use ToolsBench to break the law, to process material you have no right to use, or in a way that disrupts the site for other people, such as automated scraping or attempts to overload it.
Your files and content
You keep all rights to the files and text you put into a tool, and to the results you download. Most tools process everything on your own device; the Privacy Policy explains how this works and lists the few tools that use an outside service. You are responsible for making sure you're allowed to use and convert the content you process, for example a document protected by copyright or a PDF you don't own.
Results and accuracy
We work to make the tools reliable, but they are provided “as is”, without guarantees. A conversion can lose formatting, a compressed file can lose quality, and a calculator result is only as good as the numbers you enter. Check important results yourself and keep your original files. Calculators and converters are for general information, not financial, medical or legal advice.
Outside services
A few tools rely on services run by other companies. Those services have their own terms, and we can't guarantee they will always be available.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, ToolsBench is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or its tools, including lost data, lost files or decisions made from a tool's output. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
The site itself
The ToolsBench name, design, text and code belong to ToolsBench. You may link to any page, but please don't copy the site or present it as your own. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
