Video tools cover the common edits people need before sharing a clip: making it smaller, changing its format, and cutting it down. Use the Video Compressor when a file is too large to upload or send. Use the Video Converter or format specific tools such as MOV Converter and AVI to MP4 when a device or site will not play your file. MP4 is the safest target for wide compatibility.
For edits, Trim Video cuts a clip to a start time and duration, Crop Video removes unwanted edges, and Merge Videos joins clips together. Smaller jobs include muting, rotating, changing resolution and changing frame rate. You can also pull the sound out with Extract Audio from Video or make a short loop with GIF from Video.
All processing happens in your browser. The first time you use a video tool, it downloads a video engine, so expect a short wait before it starts. After that, speed depends on your device and the length of the video, and long or high resolution clips can take a while. Your videos are not uploaded to a server.
